Data Briefs from the Los Angeles County WIC Surveys

The Los Angeles County WIC Survey started in 2005 and has been conducted every three years since (2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2017). It is a telephone survey of WIC parents that provides in-depth information about the health of women and children, parenting practices, early care and education, and home and community environments. The survey is conducted with a randomly-selected sample of approximately 6,000 WIC families that reside in Los Angeles County. To access the surveys used each year, visit the Survey page. The data briefs provide a closer look at topics presented throughout the website to analyze trends and highlight potential opportunities for outreach, engagement and education in the WIC community.
