Food Security
In 2017, 11% of WIC families reported that in the last 12 months, there were times that they had to reduce the size of their meals or skip meals because there wasn’t enough money for food. This number dropped from 18% in 2014, indicating families may have better access to food than before. Similarily, 2% of families reported that this happened every month in 2017 compared to 4% in 2014.
